Oregon tribe considers selling alcohol at casino

Leaders of the Umatilla Nation in Oregon are considering a proposal to sell alcohol at the casino.

Some say the tribe is losing business to non-Indian bars and taverns that now offer video gaming. But others worry that liquor will lead to social problems.

Tribal members voted 229-218 in favor of liquor sales in an advisory vote last month. Tribal leaders will take up the issue this week.
