Poarch Creek Band probes missing gaming funds

The Poarch Band of Creek Indians in Alabama is trying to figure out what happened to an undisclosed amount of gaming funds.

Rumors on the reservation suggest that up to $4 million is missing. But Chairman Fred L. McGhee said he isn't sure of the exact amount.

McGhee isn't sure the money is missing either. He suggests there might be an accounting error involved.

McGhee acknowledged one incident that occurred two years ago. He said $65,000 from the tribe's bingo hall was misplaced. He doesn't know if the FBI has investigated.
