Mohegan Tribe still supports out-of-state ventures

The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut is still backing its out-of-state gaming deals, the recently elected chairman said.

Bruce "Two Dogs" Bozsum said the tribe will remain patient as developments take place in Washington, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. "We'll get there," Bozsum told The New London Day.

The Mohegans are helping the Cowlitz Tribe of Washington open a casino. In Pennsylvania, the Mohegans are bringing slot machines to racetracks and off-track betting facilities. The tribe is also helping the Menominee Nation of Wisconsin open an off-reservation casino.
