The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma is pushing officials in Massillon, Ohio, to city a casino agreement by March 31.
The tribe says a deal is needed in order to keep the city on its list of potential casino sites. The tribe is eyeing several locations in Ohio and has signed a handful of agreements.
Officials in Massillon are interested in the casino but wants more time to consider. Attorney Eric Eberhard from the Dorsey & Whitney law firm said there is no rush to sign an agreement.
