Four members of the Dry Creek Rancheria in California are suing their tribe after they moved to make way for a casino.
Melissa Russ, Karen Casillas, Katherine Casillas Somersall and Yolanda Casillas Somersall were living on land that is now the site of the River Rock Casino. They signed over their land and homes in exchange for permanent housing.
But the women say the tribe failed to live up to its end of the deal. They received money but not housing, their lawsuit alleges.
