Narragansett Tribe takes cassino bid on the road

The Narragansett Tribe of Rhode Island debuted a 40-foot bus that will promote its proposed casino as the issue heads to a statewide vote.

Chief Sachem Matthew Thomas said the bus will visit "every city and town" to urge voters to support the casino. The question is on the November ballot.

The tribe and partner Harrah's Entertainment want to open a high-stakes casino in the town of West Warwick. They need to amend the state constitution to authorize the facility.
