Cherokee Nation plans $100M casino expansion
Friday, January 12, 2007  

The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma announced a $125 million expansion of its casino in Catoosa, just outside of Tulsa.

The Cherokee Casino expansion project includes a 14-story hotel tower, more convention space, new restaurants and other amenities. The tribe will add 750 electronic games on the casino floor.

When it is finished, the casino will be the largest in Oklahoma, The Tulsa World reported. It will add 450 jobs to the 1,700 already working at the casino.
