The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut said talks with employees at the Foxwoods Resort Casino are producing results.

The tribe has been working closely with the Foxwoods Employee Group Council after complaints were raised about changes in benefits and policies. A website called madatfoxwoods.com also encouraged a massive sickout on New Year's Eve, one of the busiest days of the year.

About 200 to 300 people called in sick that day, more than twice the average. Tribal Chairman Michael Thomas said the impact was minimal.
