California
Coyote Valley casino reopens after bomb threat
Friday, April 20, 2007

coyote valley
The casino owned by the Coyote Valley Band of Pomo Indians reopened on Thursday after an early morning bomb threat.

The Shodakai Casino was shut down around 4am following a call from a man who threatened to set off an explosive device if he didn't receive a payment.

The tribal police and Solano County sheriff's deputies searched the casino and brought in a bomb-sniffing dog. But no evidence of an explosive was found.

The Coyote Valley Band was in a leadership struggle that resulted in indictments against several former leaders.
