Child taken from Cheyenne-Arapaho casino lot

A 3-year-old Oklahoma girl was found safe early Monday morning after the pickup truck she was in was taken from the casino owned by the Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes.

Alyssa Lopez was left in the pickup by her grandfather around 2am. Douglas Gray, 49, went inside the Lucky Star Casino and later noticed the truck was stolen. Video from the casino showed the truck leaving the parking lot around 3:15am.

An Amber Alert was issued at 5:34am. Thanks to a tip from an alert motorist, Alyssa was found about an hour later inside the truck, which had been abandoned off an interstate.

Gray could face charges for leaving his granddaughter in the truck. A man has been charged in connection with stealing the vehicle.
