Cabazon Band installs virtual poker tables

The Cabazon Band of Mission Indians is one of the first in Indian Country to offer automated "virtual" poker tables.

The southern California tribe installed five PokerPro machines at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino last month. Each table seats 10 players who look at their cards on a computer screen and make their moves via a touch interface.

The tables eliminate the need for dealers, cut down on mistakes and make the game flow faster. Some regular customers were initially against the idea but they seemed to have warmed up.
