Mille Lacs casino eyed as stop on high-speed rail line

The Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe is meeting with local governments in Minnesota to discuss a potential high-speed rail line stop at the tribe's Grand Casino.

The tribe is open to the idea, an official said. The casino sees an estimated four millions patrons a year.

The Minneapolis-Duluth/Superior Passenger Rail Alliance, a committee of local governments, wants to build the high-speed line between Minneapolis to Duluth. They say a stop at the casino makes sense due to the large amount of visitors.
