Seminole Tribe to spend $12M on casino expansion


The Seminole Tribe of Florida will spend $12 million to expand one of its casinos.

The project will add 35,000 square-feet to the Seminole Immokalee Casino. More room is needed to make way for additional games, including slot machines that the subject of a disputed Class III gaming compact.

The new area is expected to open in the first quarter of 2009.
