Quapaw Tribe debuts 12-story hotel at casino

The Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma opened a 12-story, 222-room hotel at its casino on Saturday.

The tribe says the hotel will turn the $301 million Downstream Casino Resort into a true destination. “It is kind of our first step and it is kind of the first chapter. So it is an exciting day for us," Chairman John Berrey said.

The facility is located in Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. The gaming portion is on the Oklahoma side.
