Connecticut tribes report slot machine revenues

Connecticut's two federally recognized tribes reported slot machine revenues for the month of March.

Slot revenues rose at Foxwoods Resort Casino and MGM Grand at Foxwoods, owned by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. The casinos brought in $61.6 million, up 1.3 percent from March 2008.

The picture was different at the Mohegan Sun, owned by the Mohegan Tribe. Slot revenues were $65.5 million, down 15 percent from March 2008.

Despite the mixed results, slot revenues for both tribes have been slowly rising after a string of bad months, The Hartford Courant reported.
