Casino Stalker
Seminole Tribe denies rumors of another casino

The Seminole Tribe has no plans for a casino in Hudson, Florida, a spokesperson said.

Rumors have the tribe opening a Hard Rock in the city. But the tribe doesn't have any trust land there so it would be "next to impossible" to engage in gaming in Pasco County, the spokesperson said.

The tribe already operates a casino in nearby Tampa. Some people think Hudson is a good spot for another one. "Right location, maybe a little government grant to some Native Americans, buy the land cheap and get it built as quick as you can," someone said on a message board.

The tribe operates Class III games at most of its casinos under a disputed compact.
