Choctaw Nation boosts casino surveillance

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma has upgraded its casino surveillance system.

The tribe is using a computer-based system from Axis Communications. A network of more than 1,000 digital video cameras will be installed at six casinos.

“We focused on protecting our assets and ensuring the safety of our staff and customers,” said gaming commissioner Paula Penz, The Oklahoma Journal Record reported.

The tribe plans to build four more casinos next year. Axis will continue to supply cameras for the facilities.
