Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation kills expansion

The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation of California halted plans for a major casino expansion due to economic factors.

The tribe planned to triple the size of the Cache Creek Casino Resort. The facility would have grown to 1.2 million square-feet, with the number of hotel rooms going from 200 to 694.

The tribe was about to head into arbitration with Yolo County for the expansion.
