Seneca Nation reports 16 percent drop at casinos


The Seneca Nation of New York reported a 16 percent drop in gaming profits and a 9 percent drop in revenues during the last quarter.

Seneca Gaming Corp. saw revenues slide from $154.4 million to $141.3 million. Slot machine revenues fell 8 percent and table game revenues fell 16 percent

The tribe has cut costs, laid off employees and suspended work on a casino expansion project in response to the recession.
