Nottawaseppi Huron Band brings in slot machines
With a grand opening of the FireKeepers Casino two months away, the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi Indians of Michigan rolled in the first slot machines to the facility. The tribe plans to open the casino in early August. The square-foot facility will feature 2,680 slot machines, 78 table games, poker rooms, bingo rooms and five restaurants. "The native communities have always done that with the local communities," said Chairwoman Laura Spurr, The Battle Creek Enquirer reported. "And we will continue to be the leaders in sharing our revenue and working with our neighbors." Get the Story:
