Arizona tribes see another dip in casino revenues

Revenue at tribal casinos fell 9.9 percent in fiscal year that ended June 30, the Arizona Department of Gaming reported.

Tribes shared $86.5 million with the state in fiscal year 2009. That's lower than the $96 million they shared in fiscal year 2008 and lower than the $92 million the shared in fiscal year 2007.

The department attributed the decline to the national recession. Revenues fell consistently over the last few quarters.
