The Morongo Band of Mission Indians hopes the support of 21 other tribes will lead to quick passage of a bill to legalize Internet poker games in California.

The legislative session ends on August 31. But a spokesperson said the effort to legalize online poker will continue when lawmakers go back to work in 2011.

The tribe's California Online Poker Association hasn't released the names of the tribes that have joined the group.
