Muscogee Nation seeks contract for fire services at casino

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation is asking the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma, to approve a contract for fire services at the River Spirit Casino.

The contract would set an an annual payment based on 13 cents per square foot of buildings at the casino. That would come to $40,200 per year, according to News on 6.

The tribe currently pays the fire department $500 an hour for every visit. The average bill for the tribe has been $44,000 a year.
