The Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs is hosting a groundbreaking on a new First Nations casino that is reportedly being financed by a U.S. tribe.

The $40 million Spirit Sands Casino will be owned by all First Nations in the province. It's expected to generate $30 million in annual revenues

Band leaders have been mum about their partners in the project. But The Winnipeg Sun said the Red Lake Nation of Minnesota might be involved.
