Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe ready for $7.5M expansion of casino

The Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe of Washington plans to break ground on a $7.5 million expansion of the 7 Cedars Casino in March 2011.

The tribe is adding 5,000 square-feet to the facility. There will be a new lounge, restaurants and more gaming machines.

The expansion will take several months to complete. Eventually, the tribe plans to build a hotel, underground parking lot and a wastewater system for the casino.

“It’s going to be a four-star resort,” Chairman Ron Allen said at the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce, The Sequim Gazette reported. “It’s going to be a year-round resource and a magnet for the local economy.”
