After four years, the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe will finally get its day in court in a gaming lawsuit.

The tribe will go to trial on July 11 in its case against the state of South Dakota. The tribe is accusing the state of acting in bad faith for refusing to negotiate a new Class III gaming compact.

The current compact limits the tribe to 250 slot machines but the tribe wants to add more. Non-Indian casinos in the state operate nearly 8,300 slot machines.
