Colorado River Indian Tribes rejoin two Indian gaming groups

The Colorado River Indian Tribes have rejoined the Arizona Indian Gaming Association and the National Indian Gaming Association.

CRIT hasn't been a part of AIGA for several years. The split dates to Proposition 202, an Indian gaming referendum that passed in 2002, when CRIT advocated for a different version of the Class III gaming compact.

CRIT later won a landmark federal court decision that said the National Indian Gaming Commission cannot regulate Class III gaming.
