Racetrack owner confirms talks with Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe

The owner of a racetrack confirmed he is in talks with the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe of Massachusetts.

Raynham Park owner George Carney said he's met two or three times with the tribe. But he hasn't committed to selling the 108-acre site to anyone, and one of his conditions is that all of his employees -- including the ones he laid off -- get hired again.

The track is within 50 miles of tribal headquarters. Two of the tribe's prior gaming sites fell through.
