mohegan
The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut officially announced the launch of the Mohegan Gaming Advisors.

The Mohegans want to help other tribes and other gaming companies. The new company will pursue management contracts and consulting agreements.

“In traditions handed down centuries ago by Chief Uncas, our work sustains our tribe for this generation and the many generations to follow," Chairman Bruce “Two Dogs” Bozsum said in a press release ."We believe our history of excellent relationships with our employees, our business partners, and our communities will serve us well as we share our expertise with other tribes and gaming companies in the future.”

In addition to operating Mohegan Sun on its reservation, the tribe owns Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs in Pennsylvania. The Mohegans are also helping the Cowlitz Tribe of Washington and the Menominee Nation of Wisconsin with casinos.

The tribe is also pursuing a casino in the Catskills region of New York and a commercial casino in Massachusetts.
