Another guilty plea for blackjack scam at First Nations casino

Another person pleaded guilty in connection with a blackjack scam at a First Nations casino in Saskatchewan.

Authorities said seven people, including a former card dealer, stole money from Gold Eagle Casino. So far, the dealer and five players have been sentenced.

The dealer, Reuben Ian Bear, was sentenced to 12 months on probation for theft and ordered to pay $1,250 restitution to the casino. Prosecutors said he helped players win money although he didn't take a cut of the profits for himself.
