Omaha Tribe preparing damage estimate for closed casino

The Omaha Tribe of Nebraska is facing millions of dollars in damages at its casino and gas station due to flooding from the Missouri River.

CasinOmaha, which is located on trust land in Iowa, has been closed since June. The building suffered significant damage, including mold.

"Every day we had to pump, we had ground water problems we had to deal with every single day, casino coordinator Dan Becker told KTIV.

The tribe expects to have a damage estimate ready by next week. The gas station by the casino will cost $2 million to fix.
