Kialegee Tribal Town reports vandalism at site of new casino

The Kialegee Tribal Town has contacted the FBI and the U.S. Marshal's Service after someone vandalized a fuel tank at its casino site in Oklahoma.

The diesel tank is being used for heavy equipment at the Red Clay Casino. Someone poured a contaminating agent into the tank and ruined 5,000 gallons of fuel.

“I have been doing dirt work for 50 years, since the late 1950s and I have never seen diesel fuel contaminated with a gel-like substance before today," Robert Stark, superintendent for KSL Dirtworks, told The Broken Arrow Ledger. "Whoever did this knew what they were doing.”

The tribe already started work on the casino, which is located on an Indian allotment held in trust for two members of the Muscogee Nation. The project has stirred significant controversy.
