Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe back on with casino expansion

The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe of Washington is back on track with a casino expansion project.

The tribe will spend about $9.5 million to add 5,000-square-feet to the 7 Cedars Casino. The expansion will allow the tribe to install about 200 more slot machines and more table games and to open a restaurant and a bar.

“That will be a significant difference in the casino property,” Chairman Ron Allen told The Peninsula Daily News.

The tribe originally planned to start work on the project last year but took a pause to assess economic conditions. Construction is now expected to last from April to September.
