Gaming interests spent $11.4M for Massachusetts lobbying

Over the last five years, gaming interests spent $11.4 million on lobbying in Massachusetts, according to the Associated Press.

The biggest spenders were non-Indian gaming companies. For example, the Sterling Suffolk Racecourse, which operates a racetrack, spent $2.8 million, the AP said.

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe spent $850,000 in the last five years, according to the AP.
