Massachusetts Gaming Commission executive director quits

The temporary executive director of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission resigned after just three days on the job.

Stan McGee was a state official who helped write H.3702, the state's gaming law. But controversy over child sexual abuse accusations derailed his new job.

The commission has until July 31 to review plans for three casinos in the state. One casino is reserved for "a federally recognized tribe."

Both the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe and the Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe are seeking a casino.
