Pechanga Band per capita reaches $30K after disenrollments

Members of the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians receive $30,000 a month in gaming revenues, CBS2 reports.

The tribes makes per capita payments to its members. The amount used to be $22,431 but it jumped to $30,000 after 250 people were disenrolled.

"Each person that has been disenrolled now, 250 of us, has lost $1.6 million, our rights to vote, our rights to healthcare, educational system," Rick Cuevas, who was removed from the tribe, told CBS2.

The tribe said it disenrolls people who do not meet membership requirements.
