City council approves casino agreement for Graton Rancheria

The city council in Rohnert Park, California, voted 4-0 to approve a casino agreement with the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria.

The intergovernmental agreement addresses groundwater issues and other environmental impacts of the casino. It allows the facility to be hooked into the city's sewer system.

The tribe expects to open the casino in late 2013 and is hiring an administrator for its gaming commission. Details can be found on the Indianz.Com Jobs Board.
