Tribes in northeast Oklahoma contribute more casino revenue

Seven tribes in northeast Oklahoma shared $10.2 million in gaming revenues with the state during the last fiscal year, The Joplin Globe reports.

The biggest contributor by far was the Quapaw Tribe. The tribe's share to the state was $6.5 million, up nearly eight percent from the year prior.

The Peoria Tribe saw the largest percentage increase. Its share to the state was $535,786 , a 15 percent increase.

Overall, the revenue shared by the seven tribes was up nearly eight percent.
