Chickasaw Nation set to buy two non-Indian gaming facilities

The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma was the sole bidder on two non-Indian gaming facilities that are in bankruptcy proceedings.

Global Gaming Solutions, a tribal subsidiary, will pay $27.5 million in cash and $97.5 million in new debt to acquire the DiamondJacks casinos in Bossier City, Louisana, and Vicksburg, Mississippi, the Associated Press reported. The current owner, Legends Gaming, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization in July.

The tribe operates 13 casinos in Oklahoma and owns a non-Indian track in Oklahoma. The tribe has a majority stake in a non-Indian track in Texas.
