Venue at Mohegan Tribe's casino settles wrongful death case

A nightclub at the casino owned by the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut has settled a wrongful death lawsuit for $4.2 million.

Elizabeth Durante, 20, was killed in a wrong-way collision that was caused by a patron who had been drinking at the Ultra 88 nightclub in March 2009. The case had gone to trial this week before the settlement was reached.

Durante's parents also tried to go after the tribe but that case was dismissed due to sovereign immunity.
