Pokagon Band makes promotions at growing casino business

Fresh off the opening of its third gaming facility, the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians of Michigan announced two promotions.

Matt Harkness has been named chief operating officer for all three of the tribe's Four Winds casinos. He will continue to serve as general manager of the flagship New Buffalo facility.

Frank Freedman has been named general manager at the Four Winds in Hartford and at the tribe's new 27,000 square-foot facility in Dowagiac. The casino opened its door last week.

The tribe saw a slot machine take of $334 million in 2012, the largest of any tribe in Michigan.
