Six indicted in connection with Choctaw Nation casino work

Six people have been indicted in connection with an expansion at a casino owned by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

Federal authorities say two executives at Flintco, an Indian-owned construction firm, were part of a bribery scheme involving other sub-contractors. A project manager for the tribe was also indicted, The Tulsa World reported.

The tribe recently completed phase one of an expansion at the Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant. A second phase, to include a new hotel tower, is underway.
