Mashantucket Tribe reaches deal with union for casino workers

The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut has reached a deal with a labor union that represents card dealers at the Foxwoods Resort Casino.

The deal with Local 2121 of the United Auto Workers is subject to a ratification vote by union members. It includes a retroactive raise and future raises, The New London Day reported.

The union represents about 2,000 card dealers. It is organized under tribal law.
