Mohegan Tribe sets opening for hotel at casino in Pennsylvania

The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut will be opening a hotel at its commercial casino in Pennsylvania on November 30.

The tribe spent $50 million on the seven-story, 238-room hotel at the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. The reservation line for rooms opened on Monday.

"We’re really excited to be able to invite our guests, who have long made Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs their daytrip destination, to enjoy the property in a whole new light,” Mike Bean, the president and CEO of the facility, said in a press release.

The tribe operates the casino under state law.
