Great Plains Indian Gaming Association moves meeting date

The Great Plains Indian Gaming Association will be hosting its annual conference earlier than usual next year.

The meeting will take place March 31-April 2, 2014, at the casino owned by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux in Minnesota. The change was made because the National Indian Gaming Association will be hosting its conference in May 2014.

"Although our conference and tradeshow is traditionally held in May, we are happy to work with and accommodate NIGA on this calendar swap for 2014," Kurt Luger, the executive director of GPIGA, said in a press release.
