Winnebago Tribe completes $7M expansion at casino in Iowa



The Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska debuted a $7 million expansion of its gaming facility in Iowa.

The tribe added a 1,500-seat event center, sports lounge, bistro and entertainment area to the WinnaVegas Casino Resort. The 30,000 square-foot venue will bring bigger acts to the facility, an executive said.

The tribe created more than 150 construction jobs for the project, The Sioux City Journal reported. Overall, the casino employs nearly 400 people.
