Soboba Band hires Scott Sirois as casino general manager

The Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians in California has hired a new casino general manager.

Scott Sirois is a member of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. He has spent more than 30 years in the gaming industry, most recently for tribal casinos in California and Arizona.

The Soboba Band is currently working to move the Soboba Casino to a new location. The the Bureau of Indian Affairs issued the final environmental impact statement for the tribe's land-into-trust application last November.
