Lawmakers debate more Class III games for Seminole Tribe

Republican lawmakers are open to an expansion of Class III gaming for the Seminole Tribe of Florida.

The tribe currently offers slot machines and blackjack at its casinos. Lawmakers say a new deal could authorize roulette and craps in exchange for a greater cut of revenues.

The compact expires in 2015. The tribe hasn't said it is interested in new games but the idea wasn't outright rejected by a spokesperson.

The tribe is sharing about $1 billion with the state under the current five-year compact.
