The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians will get a new bridge and a new road for its second gaming facility in North Carolina. The tribe broke ground on the $110 million Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel last fall. Access will be provided by a $2.5 million bridge, the contract for which was just awarded by the North Carolina Department of Transportation. The department will also be awarding a contract for the new road to the facility. Get the Story:
