New Mexico tribes see slight drop in slot machine revenues

Slot machine revenues at tribal casinos in New Mexico fell 0.1 percent last year, The Albuquerque Journal reports.

Slot revenues were $758.6 million in 2013, according to figures from the New Mexico Gaming Control Board. That's a decline from $759.7 million in 2012.

Tribes share between 3 percent and 9.75 percent of net win with the state, depending on amount they take in and the rate specified in the Class III gaming compact. Some of the compacts are expiring in 2015.
